The Spay, Neuter and Return program in conjunction with The Animal Rights Alliance (T.A.R.A.), a specific low cost program subsidized by the Towns of Warwick and Chester and managed by our organization, for the spaying and neutering of cats only within the respective Towns by T.A.R.A.   Certificates may be purchased from our shelter with proof of residency within these two towns.

*** PLEASE NOTE THAT CERTIFICATES EXPIRE  60  DAYS from PURCHASE and cannot be RE-ISSUED.

Great news! TARA is now partnering with shelters outside of our immediate area to bring low-cost spay/neuter services closer to you!

T.A.R.A. is now able to provide free shuttle service to and from our stationary clinic in Middletown, N.Y. to have your DOG spayed or neutered.

A list of participating organizations and contact information can be found on their website tara-spayneuter.org. or by contacting T.A.R.A. at 845-343-1000

Why Spay or Neuter Your Pet?
By spaying/neutering your dog or cat, you can prevent the introduction of more unwanted puppies and kittens into a world that is already full of neglected, abused and homeless animals.

For both male and female, neutering at can help prevent them from later developing health problems including specific cancers ie. Prostate, mammary, uterine, etc. Consult with your veterinarian.

You can make a difference, both for the health and well-being of your own pets and for the well-being of pets everywhere by being a responsible pet owner. Please neuter and spay your pets.
