Our foster program is designed to help certain dogs and cats during their recovery from illness or injury as well as infant kittens or puppies requiring bottle feedings. Fostering a senior dog during the winter months can help alleviate kennel overcrowding and provide a warmer, healthier safe haven for that pet in the interim. Some pets do not do well emotionally and physically in the shelter environment, so a foster home can be a life saver for them. It’s a wonderful way to help animals without a lifelong commitment.
